Raffle at the Southern Alleghenies Chapter

Cheerleaders from Mount Union Area High School held a raffle to raise money for their giving back to the community project. As a result, the Huntingdon Unit of the Southern Alleghenies Chapter (Altoona, Pa.) was the recipient of a very generous gift. With DAT members and local firemen in attendance, the cheerleaders gave personalized shirts to DAT members and twenty cases of Gatorade to be used at the scene of a disaster. The other good news is that some of the cheerleaders have goals to give more as part of a senior project. Plans are being made to hold a Band Jam in the spring with the proceeds going to the Red Cross.
