From Kenya youth leader Jacklyn C. Alivitsa:
“I spoke with our Red Cross Bungoma branch chairman and he said at the moment what is needed most are
CLOTHES: Since most families had their houses burnt down, they have no clothes or beddings to protect them from cold nights in the Displaced camps. We contributed our own clothes and shoes but they were not enough so if the youths can collect clothes they don’t wear anymore and send them over, it shall be a blessing.
MEDICATION: The displacement camps are congested and communicable diseases are spreading. In fact, in the news yesterday, there was an outbreak of typhoid and cholera.”

Thanks Haseena! This is a request that they would best be able to handle; please try contacting them through the website linked above. If this is unsuccessful, please let us know and we’ll try to help you out.
