Hi everyone!
The National Youth Council is gearing up for its February meeting next weekend, from the 20th-22nd, at American Red Cross NHQ.
We’re still finalizing the agenda, but it is looking pretty packed– we’re meeting with a number of Red Cross senior leaders to talk about youth involvement and map a path forward, finalizing a long-term web strategy (I hope you enjoy RedCrossYouth.org and Red Cross YouthWire!), making decisions on the Navin awards, and of course, working on making the National Youth Institute fantastic.
I’ll let you know how it goes. NYC meetings are usually highly productive, jam-packed, exhausting, and inspiring. But more importantly, I want to know– what’s on your mind? What would you like the NYC to do? Are there things we could work on at our February meeting that you would like to see happen?
Leave a comment below!
warmly,
Chris Chen, Cambridge, MA
