The Heartland Chapter is located in Omaha, Nebraska. Recently, their chapter youth council had the opportunity to visit the state capitol and witness Governor Heineman proclaim March as Red Cross Month! Below is a picture of the youth council with the Governor, as well as with other Red Crossers from the Heartland Chapter. It’s a wonderful story, with some wonderful photos. And finally when the Red Cross was given their proclamation, we had the privilege to join our fellow Red Crossers and our Governor for a picture. And I speak for myself, I had never been more proud to be a volunteer for the American Red Cross Heartland Chapter.
