Greetings from Solferino Italy! The majority of the American Red Cross Delegation to the world youth meeting has arrived and we are having an amazing time. The energy is palpable around the camp and I have never seen such a diverse group in my life. That being said I have met Red Cross and Crescent volunteers from Liberia, Australia, Canada, Jamaica, Mongolia, Thai Land, Holland and too many more places to list. In just an hour or so we will be taking part in the opening ceremonies for the World Youth Meeting (Entitled Youth on the Move) and the Humanitarian Village!
