Students support Haiti relief efforts

Since January, tens of thousands of students in over 70 schools (preschool through high school) in Burlington County, NJ, have donated $69,743 to American Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.  Many of the students participated in the Burlington County Chapter’s Changes Lives 2010 project, and looked under sofa cushions or did extra chores for change to donate.  Others held bake sales and movie nights, donated to wear “Hats for Haiti”, and organized a variety of other project to raise funds.  The Burlington County Chapter is extremely grateful to and proud of the children of our county, and a story has been written about their wonderful achievement.
