Holiday Campaign here we come!
What an amazing National Youth Involvement Month! We would like to thank Eton Radio for their gracious support during National Youth Involvement Month and their sponsorship of Red Cross prizes all last week. They truly make some of the coolest products out there, take a look! http://www.shopetoncorp.com/
Congratulations to Jessica Lee, Shefali Patel, Chinmaya Sharma, Joan Barcelona, and Kendall King for winning Eton Radio products in our random prize drawing all week long. In the coming weeks, these winners will be featured on Redcrossyouth.org. The National Youth Council also held a grand prize drawing; this prize will consist of a black out buddy flashlight (http://www.etoncorp.com/product_card/?p_ProductDbId=1519244) and two vintage Junior Red Cross magazines! The winner of the grand prize drawing selected from all the participants who posted on the Red Cross Youth Facebook page is Jeffrey Su! Congratulations!
Now is not the time to let all that energy fade though. It is time to put all the creative ideas and discussions from National Youth Involvement Month to work, and win MORE awesome prizes!
Through the month of December, Red Cross youth have the opportunity to support the 2010 Holiday Giving Campaign. Donations from this national fundraiser will go to the American Red Cross and help the people most in need. Red Cross youth volunteers have an important role to play.
To help you make a difference, the Red Cross National Youth Council has created several flyers to help guide school clubs, chapter/blood/SAF groups and individual youth volunteers when fundraising.
Not only will you be helping people around you by taking part in the Holiday Giving Campaign, but you will also have the opportunity to win incredible celebrity signed gear! Post how you fundraised and raised awareness for the 2010 Holiday Giving Campaign on the Red Cross youth Facebook page, and at the end of the month, the most creative and unique ideas will be chosen to win the celebrity gear.
National Youth Involvement Month has shown just how much creativity and dedication Red Cross youth possess, and here is the chance to use that to help those who need it most!
