Relief Operations launched around country
The Red Cross announced last week that it has launched relief operations around the country, in addition to the ongoing relief effort in Joplin, Missouri. Since March 31, the Red Cross has directly launched 32 relief operations in 23 states to aid the victims of tornadoes, floods and wildfires.
As a youth volunteer, you may be wondering what you can do to help your nation and fellow Americans in need. Fundraising is at times a productive way to help out when you are thousands of miles away, and you can also research the different causes to support and why they should be supported on www.redcross.org.
