As a youth that started out as a High School volunteer, I found that one of the best ways to stay connected with the National Level of the American Red Cross is through “YouthWire.” YouthWire is a biweekly email newsletter written by Sabrina Rush, National Youth Council Member, and other guest reporters. Through this I learned about opportunities, such as applying to be on the council, as well as inspiring Red Cross stories, such as that of Jonathan Lash, one of this years Navin Scholarship Recipients.
