The American Red Cross youth of Yokosuka, Japan have been quite busy over the holidays! The group took part in our annual Holiday Mail for Heroes, as well as putting together packages for Individual Augumentees who are deployed during the holidays.

“An Individual Augumentee is someone who is deployed but not with their command, they usually go alone.” Jocelyn Townsend, the Senior Station Manager of the American Red Cross of Yokosuka, Japan says.

The group purchased many different items for the boxes, and they also included some cards from their Holiday Mail for Heroes event. They also assisted with handing out the cards to service members on different ships.

These American Red Cross youth also worked with the Japanese youth, which was a great time for the two societies to work together. It proved to be a great event!

Way to go, Red Cross Youth of Yokosuka, Japan!
