Youth Power at the Southeast and Caribbean Division Volunteer Summit
Hello Red Crossers!
It’s a great day at the Southeast and Caribbean Division Volunteer Summit where members of the National Youth Council and National Young Professionals Council are providing best practices on how to involve and retain youth in the Red Cross.
The day began with a presentation from Amy Daly on the national Volunteer Strategy which was followed by an inspiring story from Sabrina Rush who began volunteering in Augusta, GA. Sabrina said that she has continued to volunteer because of mentorship from her Chapter staff and leadership opportunities offered to youth. Check back later to hear her story.
