New NYC Members Announced

The National Youth Council is very pleased to announce three new members and two new advisors joining the Council in July!  After a very competitive application process, we have selected 5 top tiered candidates who will add valuable experience to our Council. Join us in welcoming our new members Edward M. Zitnik, Sai Yerraguntla, and Jacqueline Olivia Young and our new advisors Todd James and Logan Ferlito.

 

Edward M. Zitnik (Central-Southeast Ohio Region)

Eddie Zitnick, originally from Columbus, Ohio, is a rising Senior at Ohio State University. Eddie has served as the VP of Diversity Outreach and as the President of the OSU Red Cross Club.

 

Sai Yerraguntla (Silicon Valley Chapter)

Sai Yerraguntla is from Cupertino, California, where she was President of her high school Red Cross Club. She also served on her Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the Silicon Valley Youth Executive Board. She will attend UC Berkeley in the fall.

 

Jacqueline Olivia Young (Bay Area Chapter)

Jackie Young is from Pleasanton, California, where she will be a Senior in High School. Jackie is the founder and President of her school Red Cross Club, is the Disaster Services Coordinator on her Executive Board, a water safety instructor, and a staff member at Leadership Development Camp (LDC).

 

Todd James (Hancock County Chapter)

Todd James is the Executive Director of Hancock County Chapter in Findlay, Ohio. Todd has also served on Gail McGovern’s Presidential Advisory Council. He has been with the Red Cross since 2006.

 

Logan Ferlito (Silicon Valley Chapter)

Logan Ferlito is the Manager of Volunteers and Youth Services of the Silicon Valley Chapter in San Jose, California. She has previously worked in the Cincinnati Region and the Greater Columbus Chapter. Logan has been with the Red Cross since 2007.

 

We are very happy to have all five of these members on the National Youth Council!
