Nominate a Hero!

This March, we invite you to celebrate the Everyday Heroes in your community. During Red Cross Month the American Red Cross recognizes the nation’s Everyday Heroes who in some way help their community by giving of themselves. It’s a time to celebrate and recognize the Everyday Heroes in America’s community as well as a time to invite youth to uncover their inner hero by volunteering, fundraising, donating blood, or taking a Red Cross class in First Aid and CPR.

The National Youth Council is now accepting nominations for outstanding young volunteers (or Red Cross Clubs!) who show that you are never too young to make a difference in your local or global community with the American Red Cross.

Nominators are asked to submit photos or a video along with a short story highlighting the young volunteer(s) in their local community who they consider a “Red Cross Hero.” Selected Heroes will be featured on the Red Cross Youth Website, as well as in our monthly newsletter, YouthWire.
