Nominate an Everyday Hero!
Hey folks! If you didn’t already know, March is Red Cross Month! This year, the Red Cross is celebrating Red Cross Month by celebrating the volunteers for this organization. And this year, the National Youth Council would like to honor our youth volunteers.
The National Youth Council is now accepting nominations for outstanding young volunteers (or Red Cross Clubs!) who show that you are never too young to make a difference in your local or global community with the American Red Cross.
Charles Miin was one of our 5 selected Everyday Heroes last year, and is now a member on the National Youth Council!
Nominators are asked to submit photos or a video along with a short story highlighting the young volunteer(s) in their local community who they consider a “Red Cross Hero.” Selected Heroes will get featured on the Red Cross Youth Website, as well as in our monthly newsletter, YouthWire. In addition, the selected Heroes will receive a small prize from National Headquarters. The video/photo submissions are due February 28th at 5pm EST.
