Chair Recognition

Thank you for all of your amazing service Joe! On behalf of the entire Council, I want to take this opportunity to share with Red Cross youth everywhere about all of the amazing things Joe Gibson has done for the National Youth Council and the American Red Cross during his 3-year term as Chair.

Since a young age, Joe has been heavily involved in the Red Cross. At that age, he petitioned his home state, Minnesota, to change the age for blood donors. Shortly after that he became a National Youth Council member and then the Chair! He’s worked with so many people at National Headquarters to make sure that youth are heard and he helped pilot the world’s largest global refugee simulation this past March!

Thank you Joe for everything over the years! Your leadership is admirable and inspirational and we truly cannot thank you enough!

We will miss you! Best of luck with your future and continuing your Red Cross story!
