Celebrate Giving Tuesday!

This #GivingTuesday, December 2, we ask you to join Red Cross in a lofty goal — to inspire young people to begin a life of humanitarianism and philanthropy.   Join Sophia — a most remarkable 14-year-old humanitarian — in her “Helping Hats” community program. Sophia is raising funds for those we help on #GivingTuesday and wants to “inspire people to make a change.”

 Participation is simple.  Get a group of people together who are willing to donate $1 to wear a hat in support of her cause.  Make your donation, post your group picture, and a supportive message.  Be sure to include the following in your social media post —  “bit.ly/helpinghats #GivingTuesday #GiveWithMeaning”

Our aspiration is that, together, we can both celebrate this wonderful young lady, raise funds to save lives and alleviate suffering, and inspire all of the young people who are watching on #GivingTuesday to begin a life of giving to the many worthy causes out there.
