Expand Your Red Cross Club in 2016

Hello, passionate Red Crossers around the country!

Hopefully you enjoyed your holidays and have already begun your New Years resolutions. Because of volunteers like you, 2015 was a great year in which youth throughout the nation performed fantastic service in all sectors of the Red Cross. We thank you for your hard work and will continue to support and recognize you every step along the way going forward.

Now we ask: are you Red Cross ready for 2016? January is the peak of motivation for many youth and an excellent time to boost your club involvement. To help with engaging and recognizing your club members, the National Youth Council has created two videos to sum up a few tried-and-true tips. First, check out these 4 tips for Club Engagement.

Next, a little appreciation goes a long way! It is important your volunteers get proper recognition for their time and effort. Clubs that apply regular appreciation methods have found that their volunteers are happier and more likely to be engaged in further endeavors. Here are 7 ways you can recognize the amazing work done by Red Crossers every day.
