Did you know that the American Red Cross has an interactive digital platform that will track your volunteer hours, schedule your upcoming club meetings and events, and provide a calendar specifically for your Red Cross events? The Red Cross launched Volunteer Connection in 2012 as a useful tool for volunteers to keep track of their service hours. If you ever want a comprehensive record of your time spent volunteering, volunteers can download and print out a list of all of their logged volunteers hours. Therefore, as a registered Red Cross volunteer in Volunteer Connection, you can keep track of your hours all in one place.
In addition to keeping track of your volunteer hours, Volunteer Connection allows you to organize your Red Cross events on a calendar for Red Cross club meetings, events, and more. So, in addition to tracking hours, Volunteer Connection makes it easier for Red Cross volunteers to keep track of their Red Cross events. Also, Volunteer Connection gives volunteers the opportunity to learn more about upcoming opportunities in their region and hear about past events from fellow volunteers.
