With every initiative, there lies a purpose. In our day and age, technology has made it possible to connect people living thousands of miles away. As Red Cross volunteers, we each have unique experiences that have defined our Red Cross experiences, and the time has come to start sharing our stories and hearing each other’s!
Launching on February 13th, 2019, The National Youth Council’s CrossChat Program will bring Facebook’s chat functions to life, connecting youth volunteers across the country! CrossChat will create mini-communities and foster spaces for discussion around topics relevant to Red Cross youth volunteers. The chats will be available on American Red Cross Youth Network Facebook Group.
There will be two CrossChats: Blood Services and Fundraising. Want to know more about hosting blood drives, blood donation centers, and volunteering with Biomedical Services? Join our 
Blood Services CrossChat.
Do you and your club leaders/members want to know more about fundraiser ideas and publicity techniques to help you in raising vital funds for the Red Cross’ lives-saving work? Join our Fundraising CrossChat. 
We are primarily focused on facilitating discussion among collegiate students, high school-age youth volunteers, and youth chapter contacts. These chats will be monitored and moderated by pairs of Communications Working Group members.

- Click on “Chats” on the menu to the left
- Pick the CrossChat you’d like to join!
