University Spotlight: University of Minnesota – Duluth
Volunteers from the University of Minnesota – Duluth are an exceptional group of young adults that have taken volunteerism to the next level!
Veteran appreciation is first and foremost for these students. After writing thousands of holiday cards for our military heroes, students put a spotlight on service by working with their Division 1 Champion hockey team to honor a Veteran during games to show their gratitude for service members in the community! Here is a snapshot of the school mascot, Champ, signing the welcome banner at the game.
This is just a sampling of the exemplary work these volunteers have been involved in. Students have also participated in the Missing Types Movement, bringing awareness to the importance of blood donors. Click here to find out more about Missing Types.
To the volunteers at the University of Minnesota – Duluth: we are inspired by your commitment to the Red Cross and are excited to see what you do next!
