October Monthly Focus: Home Fire Safety and Blood Services

What is Home Fire Safety?

The Red Cross is dedicated to preventing home fires, and the best way to do that is to be safe and prepared! In the case of a home fire, a matter of minutes can make a world of difference, and we want to make sure that every member of your household knows what to do – read on for more tips and tricks!

What is Blood Services?

Blood Services is one of the Red Cross’s five lines of service, which you may be most familiar with through blood drives and blood donation centers. The American Red Cross provides about 40% of the nation’s blood and blood components – and with a global pandemic, we’re experiencing a nationwide blood shortage. That’s why it’s so important for Red Cross Youth and Clubs to help support Blood Services in their own work!

How can you participate?
