i gave blood and i have not been told if it was usable…. if i have hiv or aids would they let you know.? alos it is hard to find a number on here to contact someone.

Very detailed and well researched post. Very informative too for people who never in their lives donated blood like me. Well, it really is good to be able to help the community and the world. Donating your blood could really make a difference especially for people who need it the most.
I have been encouraged by a friend who works as a volunteer for the same cause to donate blood but I’m very shy to ask questions because she might think I am too coward to admit that I worry about the effects of donating blood. lol..
Well thanks to this post, I need not ask her and proceed to donating blood.

Personally I don’t think that Mr. Handsome has received enough accolades for his humanitarian efforts. In my opinion a lot of celebrity do-gooders are totally phony and engage in so called good deeds merely for positive publicity. I have to say that I don’t think that George is one of the phonies out there in the world of celbrity do-gooders. I admire what he is doing for the Haitian people. I wish more celebrities were as real as he is when it comes to helping out those less fortunate in the world. So kudos to George and his desire to make this world a better place.
