Aparna Ghosh

Aparna Ghosh is a senior at the University of Michigan, where she is finishing her dual major in Neuroscience and International Studies.  She has been involved with the Red Cross since 2006, starting first as a Youth volunteer with her local Chapter’s youth program. She then joined the  Washtenaw-Lenawee County Chapter’s Board of Directors, where she continues to serve as the Youth member. She then served a committee chair for two years at U of M’s Red Cross Club, was Vice President last year and will be President in the coming year. In addition to all of this, she helped to shape the National Collegiate Assembly, a networking opportunity for college clubs across the country to connect with each other.

Outside of the Red Cross, she volunteers with her own nonprofit organization, Dance to Empower Stronger Healthcare (DESH), coaches Science Olympiad, and works in a research lab studying the genetic basis of prostate cancer.
