I like your use of the images to give an idea of the “feel” of the site as well as neatly break up the text.Do you think these social networks truly have a place in an age when even MySpace, the former king of social networks, can’t hold a candle to Facebook? As Facebook continues to expand and add new features I find the need for other social networks dwindling. How far would you stretch the definition of a social network? Is a simple online forum a social network? Niche networks might have a place in today’s Internet, but I think the larger ones are asking for failure. Honestly I don’t think niche networks have much of place either.

I am alaltcuy not a member of any of the three sites that I researched but I had heard of them before. I did like what I found out about Socialvibe and I do think that it is one I would join. I am not a mom, so I really don’t have a reason to join Cafemom and I don’t ever go on my Facebook, I had alaltcuy deleted it for a long time so I don’t think I would join Bebo at this time.
