Navin Narayan, a past Chair of the National Youth Council, was a dedicated, compassionate and innovative volunteer and leader. A sought-after national and international speaker on human rights, and a tireless advocate for Red Cross causes, Navin changed the way youth are now connected with the American Red Cross.

Tragically, Navin passed away at the age of 23 after battling rhabdomyosarcoma. Shortly after his death, the American Red Cross National Youth Council created a scholarship fund for Red Cross youth that exemplify the principles Navin made so apparent in order to remember his legacy.
The National Youth Council distributes two types of awards each year to high school youth: college scholarships and a speaker award.
Applications now available! Be sure to read the instructions completely and submit all necessary forms. All applications are submitted online. See links below.
